Netizen Brought Sentiments On Social Media over Disrespectful Treatment of Cebu Pacific Crew

Netizen Jojo Digao expressed his sentiments against Cebu Pacific on social media after allegedly being disrespected by a staff who presented herself as a supervisor. His experience was due to his son’s failure to present an ID.

According to Digao’s story, four other people went ahead of them and only one was able to present an ID. When it was their turn, he opened up the issue infuriating the woman.

Digao said the woman later on shouted at them saying “Ako ang supervisor dito. Wala ka na ibang makakausap.”

“Incident report NAIA 3 departure gate 117: November 4,2016 at 130 pm. 5J 581

After 3 hours trying to catch our cebu pacific flight. We made it by barely few minutes buti na lang consistent ang cebu pacific na late. Ng naka check in na kami. Nagmamadali kami na tumakbo at habulin ang flight. During this time, nawala ng anak ko ang ID nya. Meron kami ID ni misis at ang bunso na anak ang kasama ang nawalan ng ID.

When we approached gate 117 at 130 pm, I noticed that may apat na nauna sa amin, isa lang ang may ID. So when we were asked we presented both our ids at nakiusap na wala id ang bunso namin. Ang mali ko is i asked bakit wala ID ang tatlo na nauna sa amin. At dahil nahuli namin sila na nagpalusot ng 3 na walang ID sa aming unahan. Nagalit ang bastos na babae. So i said can we ask to speak with the manager, sumigaw ang babae AKO ANG SUPERVISOR DITO. Wala ka na ibang makausap.

So we sat quietly sa harapan na passengers waiting area eating our late lunch and thinking of what to do next. Either rebook or forfeit the ticket. Bago kami matapos kumain sumigaw ang bastos na babae at nagsabi, HOY KUNG GUSTO NYO SUMAKAY, LUMAPIT KAYO SA AKIN.

We decided to let go of the flight rather than be maltreated by this arrogant ground crew.

I took the photo of this masungit and bastos na babae so i can make a report to cebu pacific. She saw it and said bawal yan so I sat down.

After a while we noticed na naka detached na ang plane sa tube ng airport. Lumapit ang bastos na babae at pinasunod nya ang isang guard sa kanya. This time nagmalaki na Nagtanong na AYAW NYO BA SUMAKAY? BAKIT HINDI KAYO NAKIUSAP NA SUMAKAY? Akin na telepono mo kasi kinuhanan mo ako ng photo. I said i already posted it. And i deleted it na.

Sabi ng guard huwag na kayo sumagot sir para wala na gulo. This statement made me lose my temper and retorted sa babae

“pasahero kami kung ayaw kami pasakayin okey lang. Huwag lang kayo bastos. This time my wife who was quietly observing everything said pasahero kami pero binabastos mo kami. This for me was the last straw. Umalis na kami.

I could have let this slip away. Pero im sure madami ng ginawan ng kabastusan ang babaeng ito. Sana matutunan nya na digital na ang karma and may araw din na babalikan ka ng ginawa mo..

Ingat tayo sa iilan na mga bastos na taga cebu pacific, pag mukhang mahirap ka, u need an ID. Pag hindi ka mukhang mayaman, babastusin ka ng sino sinong ground crew. Sayang naman ang more than 17 years ko na pagiging cebu pacific suki.

The story is now viral and has garnered up to 14,000 likes, 12,900 shares and more than a thousand comments. However, many other netizens commented claiming they were there when the incident happened belying Digao’s story saying it was otherwise.

“We were actually on that scene when this happened. We do not completely know the whole story, but this post seems to be “over-exaggerated.” For the record, the staff were very calm yet the couple were on beast mode. The son actually tried to apologize to the staff for the wild response of the couple. Anyway, hoping for the two parties come to a peaceful resolution,” attests netizen Jasper Mikko Rojas.

Another netizen, Joshua Santillan also claimed that many parts of the accusations were false and have been twisted to favor the couple saying contrary to what he said, the staff were calm.

“People, before you react, make sure to hear both sides of the story. Be objective and avoid being too emotional!

Diba Mr Digao you and your family went to the kiosk to get your boarding passes instead na sa check in counter where the staff normally asks for the passenger’s ID?

At the boarding gate (kung tlgang lumilipad kayo frequently) the staff will ask you to present your boarding pass as well as your valid ID. It just so happen na nawala ng teenager mong anak yung ID niya. Pero based from the story from one of my friend working for 5J, sinabe mo na tga SENATE ka kaya hnd na nid ng anak mo to present the ID. And even your child said sorry to the staff before you guys left the gate.
