Since the discovery of Queence’s body last sunday (August 7, 2016) personnel of Socorro MPS led by PINSP ALMERANEZ conducted continous operation for the arrest of the suspect. Interviews were conducted as well as profilling on all persons of interest.
The residence of one (1) James Leo O. Macalalad, Brgy Councilor of Brgy San Vicente, Calapan City was also visited as part of the investigation, but the subject person was not around.
Upon knowing that personnel of Socorro MPS were looking for him, he then personally appeared before the authority and offered to help for the solution of the crime. Ocular inspection was conducted on his residence in coordination with Calapan CPS and it was processed by personnel of SOCO 4B.
It was then discovered that the crime happened inside his house and he has personal knowledge on the incident. Blood stains were discovered all over the house and was even tried to be cleaned by the suspect. The dog owned by the victim was also found on his backyard.
Suspect is now under the custody for documentation and filing of appropriate charges.
