A man was shot dead by a security guard in front of a convenience store near a gasoline station in Bolino Blvd., Bacoor, Cavite last October 8.
According to ABS-CBN News report, the victim was identified as Ferdinand Gorospe, a computer-technician. Based on the footage caught by a CCTV camera, Gorospe was seen beside a store trying to make his motorcycle start. Gorospe spent almost half of an hour trying to start his vehicle. According to SPO1 Feliciano Garcia, the security got irritated and so he approached Gorospe. Both of them engaged in a heated argument resulting for Gorospe to warn the guard of his return.
After 10 minutes, Gorospe came back and the guard was caught pointing a gun at him. Not long after, the security guard shot him twice hitting his chest and head which caused his death on the spot. Gorospe fell down from his motorcycle and the suspect immediately ran away from the crime scene.
Gorospe’s wife, Pilar, has a message for the suspect who was identified as Dula Minalanag.
“Wala po siyang puso para ganyanin niya po ang asawa ko. Pwede naman pong nag-usap na lang sila ng mahinahon.” Pilar said.
